John Deere is known for producing cutting-edge technology for the agriculture industry, and their newly announced G5 Series Displays are no exception. These displays offer advanced precision and performance to help farmers maximize their productivity and yield. Let's take a closer look at the different options available in the G5 Series.

G5 Plus CommandCenter

Replacing the 4600 CommandCenter, the John Deere G5 Plus CommandCenter™ is the flagship display of the G5 Series. It features a large 12.8-inch, 1080p high-resolution touchscreen that makes it easy to navigate and customize settings. The CommandCenter™ is designed for large-scale operations where precision and performance are critical. The G5 Plus includes Section Control in base, along with AutoTrac and Documentation, and you can add the G5 Advanced licensing option to take your farm to the next level of automation.

G5 Plus Universal

The G5 Plus Universal Display replaces the Gen 4 4640 Universal display. It features a similar large 12.8-inch, high-resolution touchscreen as the G5 Plus CommandCenter™.  It also ships from the factory with AutoTrac™, Section Control, and Documentation in base.

G5 CommandCenter

The G5 CommandCenter™ (replacing the 4200 CommandCenter™) is a more compact display that still offers advanced precision agriculture features. It has a smaller screen size of 10.1 inches than the G5 Plus displays but still features a high-resolution touchscreen. Unlike the G5 Plus displays, AutoTrac™ and Section Control applications are options and not shipped factory installed on the G5 CommandCenter™. However, you can add those licenses when ordering.

G5 Universal

Finally, the G5 Universal Display (4240 Universal display) is the most cost-effective option in the G5 Series. It has a similar size and interface to the G5 CommandCenter™ but with fewer features. It's designed for farmers who need precision agriculture tools but don't require the full range of features offered by the other displays.
