For decades, our family owned dealerships have been deeply rooted in the Illinois agricultural landscape. This rich heritage now flourishes under the unified banner of Prairie State Tractor, born from the merger of Holland and Sons and Kelly Sauder Rupiper Equipment.
From humble beginnings in Mendota, IL, Holland and Sons grew to encompass five dealerships across northwest Illinois, while Kelly Sauder Rupiper Equipment (KSR Equipment) thrived in central Illinois with three locations in Pontiac, Lacon, and Streator.
In 2021, KSR Equipment and Holland and Sons merged to form Prairie State Tractor, bringing together decades of experience and expertise. Today, we proudly stand as a comprehensive John Deere dealership in eight key locations across Illinois: Dixon, Freeport, Geneseo, Lacon, Mendota, Pontiac, Princeton, and Streator.
